Welcome to the REEL VISION New Zealand Film Festival.
REEL VISION New Zealand Film Festival is a film competition for filmmakers from all over the world and films of all genres.
Our jury of international judges evaluates all submitted films and awards the best films.
There is a special category for films produced on the North Island and one for the South Island
as well as a category for films made by Maori or stories with a main focus on Maori culture and related topics.
A broad selection of the annual winners will then be screened in cities throughout New Zealand.
The awards will be presented in Auckland at our annual ceremony as well as in Nelson for the South Island filmmakers.
Our mission is to promote films, rewarding filmmaker for their work and to be the next step in their career.
All submitter are invited to participate in interviews for our podcast series which will be published on social media.
